Show Your Support and Help Virginia's Bellweather County

July 12, 2012

The nation’s attention is on Prince William County.

Brett Baier, the host of Special Report on Fox News Channel, broadcasted his program last night from the banks of the Occoquan River in Prince William County. Brett is going to be broadcasting from bellwether areas throughout the country before the election.

It is not surprising that he chose to do his first battleground broadcast from Prince William County.

Take a look at this clip from Monday’s show which highlights some of the major issues facing Prince William County and Virginia.

Special Report

Republicans and Democrats know that Prince William is the bellweather county in a state that we must win if we want to take back the White House and the United States Senate.

Will you join me and pledge your support to elect Republicans in Virginia in 2012? Please sign the pledge today at: www.coreystewart.com/sign-the-pledge.

In 2011, the Democratic Party of Virginia and my opponent spent over half a million dollars trying to defeat me. They tried to portray my record of cutting taxes, cutting regulation, and refocusing county spending on core functions of government as a bad thing.

The voters responded to these negative attacks, and I beat my Democratic opponent by 31 points. The results of the election showed that the people of Prince William County believe conservative government works.

This is a message we need to drive home, not only in Prince William County but across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I have spent my career governing as a conservative, whether it is enacting the toughest crackdown on illegal immigration in the country or cutting taxes by 13% in the face of millions of unfunded federal and state mandates.

I am going to do everything in my power to serve as a strong surrogate in Virginia for Mitt Romney and George Allen, and I hope you are able to do your part too.

Please tell 10 friends to join you in signing the Pledge of Support.
