Bay Buchanan Endorses Corey Stewart for Governor in Virginia

Woodbridge, VA - Republican candidate for Governor Corey Stewart announced today he received the endorsement of Bay Buchanan, the youngest ever Treasurer of the United States.

"I am enthusiastically endorsing Corey Stewart for Governor of Virginia," Buchanan said. "Corey Stewart is a rock-solid conservative who Virginians can trust to shut down sanctuary cities, protect the 2nd Amendment, respect the Right to Life, and honor Virginia's great heritage and history."

"When Establishment Republicans work with Democrats to push for Amnesty, Corey takes the steps necessary to protect his constituents from illegal alien criminals," said Buchanan. "Instead of just talking about the problems, he takes action."

"Corey has been reelected three times in a Democratic county without sacrificing his conservative principles. Just like Donald Trump, he knows that voters respect leaders who fight for what they believe in rather than caving to political correctness," she said. "I look forward to working with Corey Stewart to bring his proven record of leadership for Prince William County to the Governor's Mansion.

"I'm humbled to receive the endorsement of such a strong conservative in Bay Buchanan," Stewart said. "Bay Buchanan is a conservative national treasure who has fought on the front lines for decades, and I'm honored she's joined us in our fight against establishment here in Virginia."

Bay Buchanan was the youngest person to serve as Treasurer of the United States, holding that office from 1981 to 1983, and later served as chairwoman of the President’s Commission on Women Business Owners under President Ronald Reagan.

She managed Pat Buchanan’s and Tom Tancredo’s presidential campaigns in 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2008; and served as a senior advisor to Mitt Romney in 2008 and 2012. Buchanan is the author of the Extreme Makeover of Hillary Rodham Clinton and Bay and Her Boys: Unexpected Lessons I Learned as a (Single) Mom, the story of her life as a single parent. Ms. Buchanan currently serves as president of the American Cause.
