Woodbridge, VA – Republican gubernatorial candidate Corey Stewart today released a new radio and digital ad chiding Gillespie for failing to defend Virginia's historical monuments.
Entitled "Lee, Jackson, and Courage," the ad spotlights Gillespie's squishy tendencies such as his support for Gang of 8 style amnesty, his willingness to veto a ban on late-term abortions, in addition to his failure to protect Virginia's historical monuments.

Should liberal cities like Charlottesville and Richmond be allowed to destroy historical monuments honoring Confederate soldiers like Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson? Ed Gillespie says that’s ok.
Gillespie told the Washington Post he opposes a law protecting these monuments. That’s no surprise. It’s part of a pattern with Ed Gillespie.
Gillespie lobbied for illegal alien amnesty and Gillespie said he would veto a ban on late-term abortions. Ed Gillespie is a K-Street insider lobbyist who stands for nothing, lost to Mark Warner three years ago and will lose again in November.
