Woodbridge, VA – Republican gubernatorial candidate Corey Stewart called for a mass deportation of criminal illegal aliens who were previously handed over to the Obama administration, and for income tax reductions for all Virginians during his Northern Virginia Campaign Kick-Off
“Working with our police department and our jails, we have apprehended and convicted 7,500 criminal illegal aliens in this county alone,” Stewart said to a crowd of almost 300 supporters and press.
“Stopping illegal immigration is an important issue, and it’s directly connected to Virginia’s economy,” Stewart said. “It is wage suppression for blue collar workers and for all of us eventually.”
“We’ve handed the criminal illegals over to the Bush administration and over to the Obama administration. We don’t know where they are now, but with the new administration, I have a sneaking suspicion we’re going to find out where those 7,500 criminal illegals are, and we’re going to remove them from Prince William County, remove them from Virginia, and remove them from the United States of America,” Stewart said.
“While I’m most known for Prince William County’s crackdown on criminal illegals, the most important thing we have to do is get the economy moving again in Virginia by bringing back the jobs,” Stewart said. “And the way we’re going to do that is by enacting income tax cuts for every working Virginian.”
